This is a super stylish, Mid-Century mirror by the renowned Swedish designer Hans Agne Jakobsson.
The mirror could be used as a hand mirror or displayed on the wall. It is double sided.
The circular mirror is encased in bentwood teak, with a long teak handle and a small loop of leather to hang it with. It has beautiful natural wood grain.
The mirror is very elegant and useful, in true Scandi style. it appears deceptively simple in its design and  elements. However, to create the bentwood design around the glass shows great skill and knowledge of product design.
The mirror is in very good condition. There is slight mottling to the very edge of the mirror, at the point and there is some slight pitting on the handle, probably caused from handling over the years. (please see all photographs) 
This lovely mirror and other objects designed by Hans A Jakobsson are highly sought after and collected. This small mirror will make a stylish addition to any contemporary home or workplace, particularly for those interiors filled with Mid-Century furniture and Scandinavian designed items.

A short bio about the designer..  HANS-AGNE JAKOBSSON (SWEDEN, 1919–2009)
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer. Specialising in wall decor, he was renowned for his lighting designs and creations.
Born in 1919 in Vadhem on Gotland, Sweden, Jakobsson became a skilled furniture carpenter at 18, gained an architectural degree in Gothenburg and was then employed by General Motors as an industrial designer. 
In 1951 he founded his own lighting company Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd, Sweden.
