An antique brass door knocker depicting St. Oswald, the saint of Oswestry in England.
St. Oswald was a king of Medieval England in the 9th Century and died in 870 where upon he became a matyr and Oswestry's patron saint.
This collectable and rare door knocker was made in England in the late 19th/ Early 20th Century and is a good quality small brass door knocker with good detailing and lovely brass patina.
It is functional and the approximate size is:
7.5cm H x 4.5 W x 2.5cm D
