Made by Angora Silver Plate Co. 1937 England.
A set of six silver coffee spoons, with plastic turquoise-green coffee bean finials. The spoons are a lovely Art Deco shape with faceted design to the spoons. They were made by the Angora Silver Plate Co. in the 1930s and are all fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1937, England.
The Angora Silver Plate Co. traded in Regent Street Birmingham and Hatton Gardens in London, in the early 20th Century.
This is a lovely set as the coffee bean turquoise colour has a contemporary appeal and the Deco shape to the spoons is very desirable.
They are stored in a velveteen and satin lined original black box with brass metal fastening.
The spoons are in very good condition, the bean finials have some wear in keeping with their age for early plastics.
The set of silver coffees bean spoons will make a lovely gift for a birthday, wedding, anniversary - also ideal for a house warming present and for someone who enjoys coffee and after dinner coffee with guests.
