A tiny silver spoon for salt or possibly mustard or purely a decorative spoon, that is also commemorative of the reign of George Vth.
This very collectable spoon has a barley twist stem and a George V silver three penny coin as the bowl of the spoon. The King's head is the inside curve of the spoon and the value of the coin forms the back.
The spoon is hallmarked 925 for silver on the end of the handle and was made c. 1910 - 1930's (George Vth's reign was 1910 to 1936.)
It is in good condition with some silver tarnish on the twisted stem, which could be removed with more polishing. Also there is some wear to the coin so the exact date cannot be read clearly.
We have other collectable spoons available, please see our other shop items or send a message for a stock update. Thank you.
Approximate size: 66mm Long x 15mm bowl diameter.
