A charming miniature portrait of a beloved Pekingese dog in a silver metal frame. This much loved pet was hand painted in oils onto an early plastic imitating Ivory. There is no artist's signature.The pretty frame is a silver coloured metal, appears like silver but has no hallmarks. The back is held in place with four slender pins. The frame has a strong metal ring for display purposes.The style of the frame indicates that this portrait was made in the early 20th Century, 1910 - 1940s.It comes in a jewellery box. The box is a recent addition and not original to the portrait but keeps the miniature well protected and well presented.Approximate size of the framed portrait: 72 x 61 x 12mmThis miniature portrait will make a wonderful present for a lover of dogs, in particular Pekingese.     We ship worldwide and mainly use Royal Mail services. We use other couriers such as My Hermes, DHL and UPS when required. Items shipped to destinations outside of the UK, will be sent via a Tracked and/or Signed For service. Valuable items will be insured with the shipping provider.  If you don't see your country in the shipping payment options, please message us for a shipping quote.
