Beautiful Wedgwood Green Jasperware Ceramic and Silver Ring. England, 1970s 
A very pretty vintage ring with a lozenge shape ceramic setting made by Wedgwood set into solid silver. The ring's setting is a type of Wedgwood ceramic called Jasperware which has been produced in various colours since the 1770s, with applied decoration in relief in white. 
This is green jasperware featuring a classical lady in white. This elegant lady with flowing robes could represnt Hygieia - the goddess of health. 

Hallmarked for silver on the band for Birmingham and date letter 1979.
The back of the ceramic lozenge also has an impressed mark for Wedgwood.
